The EGE Air Alliance is committed to tirelessly marketing and promoting Eagle County and the Vail Valley community to air carriers so that they will continue to add non-stop air service into Eagle County Regional Airport. We use our funds to negotiate directly with the air carriers, and compete fiercely with other regional airports and mountain resort destinations to capture market share of direct, non-stop air service from each and every air carrier. EGE Air Alliance's continued support of the D.C. route allows it to continue into the 2017-18 season with a full 15 week winter schedule beginning December 23 and running each Saturday through March 31, 2018. 

PHOENIX FLIGHT'S SUCCESS LEADS TO INCREASED SERVICE

This winter American Airlines will expand their successful non-stop flights from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX) Airport to the Eagle County Regional Airport (EGE) and with operations doubling in 2017-18.

For an idea of exactly how much this increased air service benefits our local economy, consider two non-stop flights negotiated by the EGE Air Alliance: during Winter 2016-2017, the Phoenix flights brought 2,773 passengers to Eagle County and the Washington DC flights brought 1,246 passengers to Eagle County. The estimated economic impact of these two deals is $8,604,679.
